Introducing Coefficiencies Apps

Wow, it’s certainly been a while since I’ve posted on the site or sent a newsletter. I’ve been pretty busy at work lately, so I haven’t had much mental energy for writing. But mainly, I’ve been spending a lot of my time vibe coding.

Since getting a Claude Code Pro subscription in November, I’ve pretty much been vibe coding non-stop. I don’t want to go over all the things people have already said about vibe coding, and I’m sorry if you hate the phrase. But as someone who has more ideas than time, it’s been incredibly satisfying to scratch those little itches for automations or apps. I’ve even finally been able to build an iOS app, now in testing!

A lot of the apps I’ve built have been for very specific home automation projects or other little household trackers that are tailored exactly to how I want them to work, and would be kind of a pain to turn into polished apps for others. But every once in a while, I end up with something that might actually be useful to other people. So I thought I’d spin up a section of the site dedicated to these apps.

The apps themselves are hosted in a single Railway project, which I’ve managed to keep on the free tier so far thanks to minimal usage.

To start, there’s a packing list generator, a mortgage calculator, and a charades game helper. Quite the assortment! None of them let you create an account or save anything for later, because I didn’t want the headache of supporting that. But that might come down the line if people find them useful.

What none of them have are ads or tracking spyware. I added a “Buy me a coffee” button to help cover hosting costs if they get a lot of usage, but it’s entirely optional. I mainly just want to create a few more spaces on the web where people can use simple utility apps without their eyes bleeding from a thousand ads and pop-ups begging them to subscribe to something.
